I’m an artist. Sometimes i paint,
other times i write. But the time i cherish most is at home, where i
live on the other side of the lens. I spend my days
creating and composing through imagination and inspiration. I know
lots of people who take photos, also i see a lot of photos from people i
dont know. Some of their photos grab me and some don’t.
I hear some of these people explain that they have a real “eye” for
photography. But as Mark Twain says, you can’t depend on your eyes if
your imagination is out of focus. I shoot in the only way
i know how, through interest. I find certain people, certain
subjects and certain colors interesting. I’m also interested in life,
and if your not interested in life then photography has no
meaning. Being an artist opens the door for me to call this world a
free place where I can choose to be myself. Being an artist allows me to
be who i want to be, and lets others see who i am
through photographs. Being an artist is what i love. So its simple.
When it comes to photography, I’m not a professional, I’m an artist.
